Deep dark amber in color. This Shu Puer has cleaned up a lot in the last five years. It was clean but with a musky taste, not unlike most shu puers of that age, but nearly all of it has transformed into something more pure. It's almost like a forest rain warmth and thickness. This maocha was hand-picked from one hundred to five hundred year old trees. After years of aging, its complexity resembles that of a shu puer of well over a decade.
